"Follow your passion,
Follow your dreams,
But most of all,
Follow your heart."
Kula SUP founder Angie Hall is a Yoga Alliance registered E-RYT 200, American Red Cross certified lifeguard, and Paddle Fit/SUP Yoga certified.
As a former Junior Olympic gymnast Angie has always been passionate about fitness. She became a personal trainer in 2006 and then a certified Yoga Instructor in 2010. After spending over 10 years working in the fitness industry she found her true love for the outdoors when she took an 8-week road trip camping around the United States in the summer of 2015. She then decided to combine her love for fitness and the outdoors when she discovered Paddle boarding to be the perfect fit for both her passions!
Angie’s classes are charged with her positive energy and uplifting spirit. She smoothly incorporates her passion for movement, and the outdoors into every class. As an instructor, her goal is to unite individuals from all walks of life, as we are all reminded of the love, respect, and gratitude we have for each other, and ourselves. She provides a safe and fun environment for her students to have the best experience on land and out on the water.
Where did the name Kula come from?... Meet Kula the tortoise! Kula is Angie’s 40lb. Sulcata Tortoise. He is 20 years old and Angie named him when she was 10 years old not knowing the meaning behind the name. In Sanskrit Kula means Love and Community.
“As a yoga teacher my intention is often love and bringing people together. Individually we are one drop, together we are an ocean.”
